Play Day 2012

We could not have asked for a more perfect day for Play Day! The Kindergarten friends had sooo much fun traveling to all of the different stations Coach Hollingsworth set up for us! Basketball shoot, Tug-of-War, sack races, dance party and so many more activities made our day perfect! The Snow Cones were the perfect way to end a wonderful morning!! THANK YOU COACH HOLLINGSWORTH!!!

Watching Our Garden Grow!

Spring is definitely in full swing. The weather is beautiful...but our little patch of dirt by Cottage 2 was not. :) Fortunately, with the amazing help of Mrs. Lockett and Mrs. Gainer, we finally have a beautiful little garden. Mrs. Lockett got a little flower plant for each student. They had so much fun planting them! (Too bad I left my camera at home planting day!) We also planted some beautiful jasmine and little flowers to add to the garden. Take a look at a few pictures...More to come soon!

Getting "Wild" at the Jacksonville Zoo!

Cottage 2 had a WILD time on our field trip to the Jacksonville Zoo. It was so awesome to see all of the animals we had been talking and learning about during report writing. Thank you to our amazing volunteers who helped make this trip "easy peasy" and so much fun!

We Love Report Writing

In March, the boys and girls in Cottage 2 were becoming quite the informational writers. They were able to tell facts about things in which they were "experts". Take a look at our group reports. The students loved working with their friends to give information about some of their favorite animals!
