The students on Island 2 are becoming quite the experts of number recognition. This week we played a game called "Roll and Record". Using a dot cube, the students counted the number of dots of each roll. Using a graph, they then had to record the number rolled. This was a great way to not only practice counting a set of dots but also to learn how to read information on a graph. The students were able to tell how many times they rolled a certain number. They were able to tell what number was rolled the most, least, etc... What a fun introduction to a life-long skill!!
